Stairlift Scotland Ltd is a third-generation family run business who have been trading for over 26 years. Working as a therapist for most of her life, our Founder, Mrs. Morna M. Barry has a therapeutic and clinical background which contributes to the 300 years+ of combined experience we have in the company. All of our engineers are manufacturer trained; well equipped to take care of your equipment, so that; you can take care of your family.

We offer so much more than just stairlifts, suppling a wide range of hoisting equipment and other daily living aids like showerchairs and slings and we specialise in aftersales, offering a repair and maintenance service for your equipment. All calls answered by our local office
We are based in Glasgow but cover all of Scotland and our headquarters are easily accessible by all major roads if you wish to visit our purpose-built showroom. We do not use call centres, and all of our enquiries are dealt with in our Glasgow office by a member of our experienced team.
Environmentally friendly
At SSL, we have built a reputation for being specialists in recycling and refurbishing and have been ISO14001 accredited since our company was founded in 1996. We refurbish equipment whenever we can so that we can reinstall it in new homes, both on a rental or reconditioned basis, decreasing material waste. We have electric vehicles in our fleet fuelled by solar panels in our purpose-built showroom to reduce our carbon footprint -actually feeding energy back into the National Grid. All of our electrical waste is disposed of correctly following WEEE guidelines reducing our landfill footprint. We understand the importance of protecting the environment and we are always looking for ways in which we can improve our overall Carbon footprint.
